We had the opportunity to attend the Montana Economic Summit put on by Senator Max Baucus the past few days, and had a great time. Our booth was constructed with ranchwood which is 100% beetle killed pine . We had the privilege to share our story to so many people and it was awesome to receive such encouraging words. A few attendees at the Summit consisted of: Governor Schweitzer, Senator Max Baucus, Senator Jon Tester, Congressman Denny Rehberg, Steve Ballmer (CEO of Microsoft), Jeff Immelt (CEO of General Electric), Bob Iger (President and CEO of Disney), and ambassadors from China, Chile, Ireland, Japan, and New Zealand.
Currently there are not many solutions for our pine beetle infested forests and to receive the support we did at the Summit was just awesome.
Our forests are dying quickly and we’re all searching hard for solutions and products to manufacture using this dead standing natural resource. Our ranchwood product line is one solution, but until we can spread the news we’re just making a small dent in this expanding epidemic. Collectively with your help we will make a difference, one tree at a time.
By purchasing ranchwood you are helping to reduce forest fuels, slowing the expansion of the mountain pine beetle, eliminating the risk of wind blown trees on our roads, trails, and campgrounds; and reclaiming dead standing trees versus harvesting live trees.
A special thank you to Senator Max Baucus and his staff for their support and putting this together.
