New ranch residence built with Ranchwood!
This home is located in a rural area near Rogerson, Idaho. The owner chose to use Ranchwood for both exterior siding, their exterior door and interior elements.
The architect and owner of this new home originally specified the use of reclaimed barn wood yet had concern over budget and material waste. Ranchwood, which emulates rough sawn rustic barn wood, proved to be an excellent solution, providing a reasonable priced alternative and an easier product to utilize. The well thought out design by Laughlin & Associates included a central towered living area.
Hand Hewn Eastern Exposure Ship Lap Siding and Door
Our Southern Idaho MTP Representative, Marty Melander, met with the homeowner to work on color selections, coordinated the custom finishing of the siding (hand hewn) and worked with MTP’s door company, Pine Door, to develop a front entry door that compliments the home quite well.
Interior Mud Room Bench
Exterior and interior furniture are often complimentary options for our customers. Either crafted by Montana Timber Produts or by our customers, these continue to be nice options which add to the rustic décor.
Marty continues to work well with local contractors, architects, and new dealers of Ranchwood to educate on the various benefits of the product lines. The homeowners were pretty excited for the drive to Montana where they picked up their siding and door in the same trip. Happy Trails…
