The owners of this residence desired an exterior siding product that provide an excellent long term preventative maintenance solution.
Prefinished with Seal-Once, a water based penetrating waterproofer, ranchwood was a safe and good long term alternative. Here, they chose circle sawn window trim to offset against the wire brushed siding. Seal Once is the preferred penetrating waterproofer of choice. Oil based or semitransparent stains which sit on the surface of the wood therefore making them more susceptible to water and UV erosion. Seal Once uses water as the carrier and penetrates with the enhanced UV inhibitors into the wood-making it a more long lasting and easier product to maintain.
Montana Timber Products continues to provide unique and cost effective design solutions for builders, architects, and commercial and residential owners interested in wood siding and timber products which decrease long term preventative maintenance, increase curb appeal, and provide a cost effective rustic alternative to other building products that are available.
