Special requirements:  Mining cabin that can persevere through the elements while personifying the Mountain Mining Cabin design.

Solution:  Montana Timber Products ranchwood™  Western and Northern siding (vertical) with Tackroom trim and AquaFir™ Whitewash siding (horizontal). Mixture of new and old building materials.

Products: Random width (2″- 12″) Reverse Board and Batten (Vertical), 1″x12″ Channel Rustic (Horizontal), 2”, 4″, and 6″ Trim.

This mining cabin tucked into the mountains of Washington is one of our most unique and aesthetically entertaining projects to date. The design implemented an array of materials as well as a variety Montana Timber Products ranchwood™ and AquaFir™ siding to provide the cabin with a one of a kind look.

The mixture of our ranchwood™ Western, Northern, Tackroom and AquaFir™ Whitewash colors is a demonstration of the flexibility and creativity available from Montana Timber Products. The use of Tackroom ranchwood™ trim provides consistency throughout the cabin while the Western, Northern and Whitewash color options provided the owner with the ability to be creative.

The use of corrugated steel and other assorted building materials complements the ranchwood™ seamlessly as seen here. The use of ranchwood™ Tackroom trim integrates nicely with the corrugated steel gives this mining cabin distinct personality and a very creative appearance. Montana Timber Products rustic reclaimed ranchwood™ and AquaFir™ product lines can be used for an entire project or mixes well with other types of rustic or new building materials.
