Montana Timber Products ranchwood Tackroom and Western Exposure colors were the product of choice for the contractor and owner of this new barn with living quarters in Bozeman, Montana

ba21×10 and 1×3 board and batten-Tackroom, 1×6 shiplap soffit and 2×6/2×8 window trim Western Exposure

A combination of ranchwood  Tackroom (brown) and Western Exposure (grey) were used to offset color tone for the siding, trim and soffit material of this exterior.  The colors integrated well with the stone and window selection chosen for the barn.

Montana Timber Products ranchwood products are prefinished with Seal-Once. Seal Once is a NO VOC, NON TOXIC, waterproofer which is safe for use around animals, has a 10 year warranty against water ingress, and has UV inhibitors which extend UV life.  A water based product, the reapplication of Seal Once is easier and safer than other coating alternatives which may be considered.

The combination of color and product width proved to be a winning combination for this personal residence in Bozeman, Montana.  Integration of exterior stone and metal garage door cladding provided an excellent twist to achieve the modern/rustic element the owners desired.  Here, an evening shot exposes the distinction in color variation between the various ranchwood products.
