Several of our customers have discovered the rustic look of mixing colors and widths. In the days of small sawmills located in rural areas the boards were taken off the mill and used on the building in the widths that were cut. Another attractive result of this method was the aging of the boards in various color tones natural to the wood.  Whether you are trying to achieve the historical rustic look and feel or just looking for that special look, the mixed colors and widths approach might be for you.
