The subtle color variations inherent in natural wood bestowed a depth upon the home’s white finish that artificial materials simply cannot replicate.

The decision to complement the Snowdrift exterior cladding with Natural soffits and Black trim accents harmoniously tied together the overall design.

By aiming to be set apart in the neighborhood, this project achieved resounding success!

Where:  Idaho
Products:  ranchwood™ product line.  All siding and trim in Yellowstone color and fascia and soffit in Western color.  All material with wire brushed texture. Wood substrate is douglas fir, all kiln dried.

Product Use:  1×8 shiplap horizontal siding with accents of vertical board and batten (1×3 and 1×6).  Soffit is a 1×6 Tongue and groove.  The fascia is 2-step fascia with 2×4 over 2×10.

Products:  ranchwood™ product line in southern finish color with circle sawn texture. Wood substrate is douglas fir.
Product Use:  1×12 board and 1×3 batten and 1×6 trim.  8×12, 8×8, 4×8 posts in circle sawn texture all FOHC #1 kiln dried timbers.  Rafter tails 2×6 and 3×6 in douglas fir material. Garage door and barn door material is 1×6 and 2×6.

 

 

Montana Timber Products offers 4 product lines in douglas fir or cedar wood species (each in three grades).  Along with corral board an authentic reclaimed wood.   Materials are available in 4″, 6”, 8”, 10” and 12″ wide boards in lengths ranging from 4ft to 16ft long (douglas fir or western red cedar).  Available in 6 profiles (shiplap, square edge, square edge lap, shiplap reveal, tongue and groove, channel rustic) and 3 textures for the AquaFir™ and ranchwood™ products (smooth, wire brushed, circle sawn), ranchwood™ Artisan is ONE texture (raked) and Charwood™ is its own texture from the burning.  Thickness offered is 1″,5/4 (cedar only), 2″ as standards and then timbers/posts in 3+ inches.  The board will come profiled, textured, stained on one side (unless you designate needing more sides stained) and sealed on all 4 sides with our seal once.  Call 406-215-4961 for more information or fill out the contact form at:  http://www.montanatimberproducts.com/contact/.

Product: AquaFir™ Galleta color in horizontal shiplap and board and batten siding with wire brushed texture in douglas fir. Trim and post wrap in Galleta and Cinder color with wire brush texture in douglas fir.
Product Use: 1×8 horizontal shiplap siding, 1×10 and 1×3 board and batten siding, 1×6, 1×8, 1×12, and 2×12 post wrap, 2×4, 2×6, 2×10 and 2×12 trim.

The design scheme called out a mix of wood siding with rock and metal to create a mountain modern look. The developers worked with Montana Timber Products to create custom colors for this project. Delivering product directly to the jobsite that is pre-finished, sealed and ready to install helps keep the project in budget and on schedule regardless of weather conditions. Offering sizes from 4”-12” wide, with varying thickness and lengths allows the builders to use one source for all the wood elements on the project.
