Restaurant with ranchwood™ Board and Batten Siding

Where: Sisters, OR
What: New Light Commercial Restaurant Building
Special requirements: Meet Local Architectural Design Guidelines
Solution: Ranchwood® (Tackroom) 1×10 and 1×3 Board and Batten
Products: Board and Batten, Pre-Finished matching soffit material in MTP’s Tackroom color

Another commercial project built with Ranchwood!

The developer and owner of this new Subway location required a pre-finished, durable, product which met the architectural guidelines of the municipality.  The contractor desired a product that was easy to install and was competitively priced.   Here, the Ranchwood Board and Batten option closely resembled reclaimed barn wood at a fraction of the cost.

MTP Oregon Representative, Cody Reynolds, met with the contractor and architect to thoroughly explain product options, trouble shoot portions of the design, and even provided customized Simpson nails to match the siding. Then our MTP crew back in Montana made sure the order got out on time and Cody’s follow through was excellent.

The Ranchwood Timber Series options can provide both structural and appearance support during the building processing. Often, application will be either interior or exterior accent beams or porch wraps.  Here, a 4×4 is nicely integrated into a corner section.

We’re looking forward to working with them on future Subway locations!  Cody’s got more projects nearing completion in the Oregon area and we’ll be sure to bring you more photos and details soon.

Lakeside at Georgetown, Georgetown Lake, Montana
Nestled at 6,500 feet in the heart of Southwestern Montana’s Pintler Mountain Range, Georgetown Lake offers a pristine four season recreational experience. Like most of the nation, this area of has experienced the impact of the recent recession.

When the developers of Lakeside at Georgetown contemplated construction in 2010, they understood the importance of a building concept that would be unique by providing their customers a quality, sustainable, and cost competitive experience.

After evaluating the options of a higher cost reclaimed lumber and a stained cedar product, Lakeside at Georgetown chose instead a variety of Montana Timber Products ranchwood™ line for their exterior and interior applications.

“Rustic Elegance is the value we want our owners to feel when they purchase at Lakeside.

Montana Timber Product’s ranchwood™ product line provided a variety of color and texture profiles, a competitive warranty, and was the sustainable solution we were searching for.

It’s definitely helped differentiate the experience for our buyers. To top it off- we wanted to buy direct and also customize certain parts of our order. MTP delivered.” Jay Schuette, CA

Across the country, developments like Lakeside are beginning to experience an increase in interest from the discerning buyer as confidence in the economy improves.  Utilizing a unique product, which can be customized and purchased directly from the manufacturer, is an emerging trend as the real estate market climbs toward recovery.
