The weather conditions of Deer Lodge, Montana closely emulate much of the Rocky Mountain and Pacific Northwest.  Snow, rain, sun, and wind are the usual elements which MTP’s Ranchwood products must be prepared for.  The RW Sealant waterproofer is designed and tested to beat the most harsh weather conditions and protect owner’s investment for years.

2×12 Ship Lap Siding (Eastern Exposure)

Originally, the developer of this private club used reclaimed barn wood for original structures.  However, when it came time to put the pencil to the next phase of expansion the waste factor and higher priced option of reclaimed wood wasn’t going to make the cut.  Ranchwood’s lower waste, competitive price, and ability to be customized with color and profile options compelled the owner and developer to choose it as the most reliable solution.

Vertical (1×6 Ship Lap) and Horizontal Profiles (2×12 Ship Lap) are often utilized to compliment various design features.

“Finding a product which was consistent, had great esthetic appeal, integrated well with existing structures and the landscape, and had a warranty proved to be integral in our development plan,” said Fred Nadeau, General Manger of RCC.  The architectural recommendation from CTA and follow through from Montana Timber Products made our decision much easier. “The first phase of our newest townhome addition, known as Sweetgrass Cottages, is complete and we are estatic that our units are selling well,” commented Nadeau.

“CTA Architects Engineers is a well known design build company which has offices spread throughout the Rocky Mountain and Pacific Northwest.  We constantly evaluate product options, complete cost analysis for our customers, and recommend only the very best values for our customers-Ranchwood passed the evaluation with flying colors,” said Randy Rupert, Business Development Manager for CTA.

“Montana Timber Products ability to regionally meet with architects and developers is a pillar of the company’s customer service.   Our regional sales representatives understand our products, have met with hundreds of architects and contractors to explain its benefits, and have successfully sold Ranchwood to homeowner’s, developers, and contractors,” said MTP CEO John Giuliani.

When the developers of Lakeside at Georgetown contemplated construction in 2010, they understood the importance of a building concept that would be unique by providing their customers a quality, sustainable, and cost competitive experience.

Montana Timber Product’s ranchwood™ product line provided a variety of color and texture profiles, a competitive warranty, and was the sustainable solution we were searching for.
